All incoming 9th graders interested in playing football are invited to attend the following Freshman Workouts:
DATES: JULY 2023, EXACT DATES COMING SOON
LOCATION: Palisades Charter High School. Report directly to the football field. Players should wear workout t-shirts, shorts and running shoes and bring football cleats.
OFFICIAL SUMMER PRACTICE for all players begins Monday, July 22, 2023 from 2 pm – 5 p.m. Practice is 5 days a week. Once school starts, practice is from 2 pm – 5 pm daily.
EMERGENCY CARD: Players must bring a completed Emergency Card to the 1st Summer Freshman Workout (DATE TBD). Download at http://palifootball.org/documents-forms/
PHYSICALS: Physicals must be 100% completed and all online forms must be filled out and approved before players can start Official Summer Practice on July 22. Parents/guardians of all athletes must go online and complete their Athletic Clearance Online Registration at www.athleticclearance.com where you will need to upload a copy of your child’s most recent physical (must be current and not expire in season). NEW PARENT MEETING: On Monday, July 22, 2023 at 5 p.m. we will hold a mandatory New Parent meeting with members of the coaching staff & the Pali QB Club to discuss the upcoming season.
EQUIPMENT NEEDED BY JULY 22: We will provide helmets, shoulder & knee pads, home and away uniforms (jersey, pants), practice uniform (jersey, pants) and an equipment bag for all players. Players need to have black, black/white or black/royal blue football cleats and a mouth guard. It is highly recommended that players have padded tights / 7 piece girdle that include a tail pad, thigh pad, hip pads and knee pads to be worn under their game pants. Some players may also choose to purchase additional protective undergarments such as padded tech shirts.
